It has been about a year or two since the idea of crafting and you walk with the Lord have collided.
I had never thought of combining the two. Of course we have all taken the occasional Bible study notes and we highlight passages in our Bible. But the new "fad" is actually decorating your Bible study notes and even painting in your Bible: to show your faith, understanding and love for God.
I'm not sure about you, but this is something that I can get behind. So what if people are just doing it because everyone else is. This is something that you'd want to stick to. This is something that can change your life for the better.
I posted THIS video showing how I typically decorate my notes pages in a planner specific binder.
The Binder I use is from Amazon HERE
You can use a planner it self and use each day as a place to write scriptures.
This binder comes empty I just added blank paper and tabs to make it lively.
When I am reading my Bible or listening to a Teaching or Podcast I jot my notes down in a separate place. In this moment I want to be present in my word and time with God, so I don't bother with decorations and such.
After that, in my spare time, at the end of the week I transfer all of those notes to my pretty pages. NO fuss. I just decorate with whatever supplies Im feeling.
If you are into creating or crafting already then this process will be easy for you. Its really all about finding a way to get in more Spiritual and personal time with God.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what else you'd
like my take on!
