Journaling has been a past time for many of us for a long time.
I can't tell you how many journals I have kept over the years.
Now, in my adult years it has come full circle. It is "cool" again.
I try to bring in my love crafting as I journal. I paint on the pages.
I add scrapbooking paper and I even draw a little. Its become a form of therapy.
Here are a few of my favorite pages.
These pages were a canvas for some notes on a Bible Study.
I used stamps to decorate for the first picture and Project Life do dads on the second.
Planning in a journal/notebook is all the rage at the moment.
I have created a notebook that I plan my craft projects in. Here is this weeks spread.
I used pencil to draw first and then a multi liner to trace in black and finished with Prisma Colored Pencils.
I hope these examples have encouraged you to start a journal and add a little color to it.
Looking back at the pages is a reward in itself.
Here are some products that you can use to help get you started if you are starting from scratch.
I am only posting products and companies that I have used and loved.
I use these on most of my journal pages. the sets are so versatile.
Sometimes you need straight lines when you are doodling.
Multi Liners are wonderful for tracing a pencil drawing.
And adding details to stamped images. There are many sizes.
I have linked a 5mm. My go to size.
Holy Grail of pencils. I got this set for Christmas.
Easy to use, create your own color pallets. Wonderful.
